VIETNAM AT A GLIMPSE

Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi - Mekong Delta
Day 1: Hanoi arrival (no meal)
Welcomed at Noi Bai International airport by our guide and transferred to your hotel Relax after a long journey before we present you Vietnam daily life with one hour cyclo ride or walking around the Hoan Kiem lake, visit Ngoc Son temple and Old quarter streets. Stop at Thang Long theatre for one hour Water Puppets shows. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay – the World heritage (B/L)
Start at 8:30am, after approximately 3 hour and a half, you will arrive at Halong, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Embark on a traditional style wooden junk around noon. Lunch with sea food served on boat during the cruise. With 4-hours boat trip, you are cruising around rocks, islets, visit one cave and Disembark at around 4:00pm then drive back to Hanoi for overnight (arrive in Hanoi around 07:30pm)
Day 3: Hanoi- Danang - Hoi An - the Ancient town (B)
After breakfast, we will go to Noi Bai airport for flight to Danang. On arrival at Da Nang Airport, you are welcome by our local guide then visit to Cham Museum (rich collection of Cham sculptures from in 14-15 century back with Indian influences) before transferring to Hoi An town, which was originally one of major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Visit of Hoi An Town with mixed the culture of Vietnam/Chinese/Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese temples, Japanese covered bridge. Over night in Hoi An town.
Day 4: Hoian – Danang - Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi tunnel (B)
Leave your hotel early for morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, heading to Cu Chi tunnels, the “Iron Triangle”, our Viet Cong basement in the American war. Back to Hochiminh city for a quick view of the busiest city of Vietnam by visiting the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Post office, last stop at China Town. Check in hotel and overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B/L)
In the morning, take 2 hour drive southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise along islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop en route to sip special tea with honey and sample fruits with a local family and share their stories of life in the Mekong Delta. They will guide you on a walk through their orchard and explain how tropical fruits are grown. Then continue the journey with a paddled sampan through the narrow, tree-lined canals of Mekong River. Enjoy lunch at the islet then visit handicraft villages and a coconut candy factory before returning on shore for driving back to Ho Chi Minh City.
On the way back to Ho Chi Minh city we would like to suggest a stop to visit one of the followings (choose one place only)
+ Dong Tam snake farm - is a center for breeding snakes producing venom for exportation and an ecological zoo where different genes of rare & precious animals in the Southern area are conserved. There is a museum of almost all species of pythons and snakes in Vietnam. The farm has a collection of mutant turtles and fish on exhibit.
+ Vinh Trang Pagoda – an ancient southern architectural gem. Built in 1849, the structure is a harmonious mixture of Asian and European architecture including elements from the Renaissance period, Romanesque style, French decorative flowers and Japanese enameled tile. There are many specious statues made of wood, among which was a collection of 18 Bodhisattvas sculpted in 1907, representing the summit in sculpture in the Mekong River plains.
Day 6: Ho Chi Minh city - Departure (B)
You are at leisure for last minute shopping or optional visit before transferring to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure.
