Traveling to Ha Giang: Ha Giang is First cape of the country, plenty of stunning sightseeing, high mountains and deep valleys… there is “ road on the foot of clouds up to Heaven Gate”.


Transportation: there are a lot of this to explore on the way to Ha Giang, if you are strong enough you’d better go by Motorbike to enjoy and behold a great deal of breathtaking sightseeing and landscapes. The route is winding, steep and it’s chance for you take many nice pictures. Or you can travel by Bus or Van. It’s rather simple to reach Ha Giang from Bus stations such as Giap Bat, Gia Lam, My Dinh. Continue from Ha Giang there will be other buses connecting to Dong Van, Meo Vac, Yen Minh, it’s better to leave at 21’00 PM. Because all buses -together depart from bus stations at 21’00 = 21’10. You just sleep and wake up at 5’00 AM or 5’30 when your bus arrive Ha Giang.

When to go


The best season to come is in the spring – and Autumn. In Spring, Peach, Ban and Cai, Plum flowers bloom everywhere. In Autumn ( 9-10-11) Cai and Triangle Mach Flower bloom brightly, this scenery is fit for romantic and emotional people.

In my opinion in the months as 9-10-11 still it the best when it’s slight sunny, cool and less rain and no landslide to affect your trip.

Attention : It’s dangerous if you explore Pass in the rain, the terrain of Ha Giang is mainly with high mountains and deep valley. You will have troubles in the rainy times. Thunders and Flash will scare you at the isolated places – slippery roads, foggy curtain blind your view let alone other situations…
