  Among the highlights of a stay at Vinh Hung Riverside Resort will be the spacious Red Tile Restaurant. Visitors will be made to feel more than welcome, receiving courteous service and excellent meals.

 The restaurant offers a complimentary buffet breakfast which includes seasonal fruit, fresh-baked baguettes, made-to-order omelet, the popular local noodle soup and much more to start your day

 For lunch and dinner the restaurant has an extensive menu which includes Western and Vietnamese dishes as well as delicious local specialties. The restaurant’s excellent location offers wonderful views over the Thu Bon River.

 While enjoying their meal guests can feast their eyes at the sights of the green countryside of Cam Kim Island across the river and the ever busy locals in their boats going about their business or trying to catch fish to sell at one of the many markets in the area.

   Our highly experienced bartenders always manage to prepare delicious and refreshing cocktails, mocktails and fruit juices for the visitors of the Riverside Bar. The Riverside Bar beckons everybody returning from a hot day of shopping or sightseeing, it is the perfect place to cool down in the comfortable breeze on the bank of the Thu Bon River. Cooking Class

Vietnamese cuisine is becoming famous all over the world. Vinh Hung Riverside Resort now offers its guests the opportunity to learn how to prepare some of the delicious Vietnamese dishes.

The cooking class starts with a boat trip to the market to buy the necessary ingredients after which the lesson will take place at the Red Tile Restaurant.

Participants of the cooking class will learn about the usage of different ingredients and about the methods of preparation. After the chef has finished explaining it will be up to the participants to put in to practice what they have learned. The chef will, of course, help when necessary.

The menu of the cooking class consists of five different dishes (Vegetarian dishes are available on request) of which recipes will be given after the class.

After the cooking class the participants will enjoy what they have cooked.

Cocktail Class

When you think of Vietnamese flavours you think of pomelo juice, lemon grass and fish sauce. Is it possible to make a cocktail with these ingredients? The answer is yes!

Vietnamese culture is getting more recognition in the world with particularly its cuisine becoming famous. One of the lesser known aspects of Vietnamese culture, however, is its drinking culture which involves many kinds of beverages.

Familiarize yourself with this little known side of Vietnam by joining our cocktail class!

Our experienced bartender will guide you through the maze of rules and customs of the Vietnamese drinking culture and explain the usage of the different ingredients in Vietnamese cocktails as well as the methods of preparing them such as mixing, blending and shaking.

After the explanations and demonstrations of the bartender each participant of the class will have the opportunity to prepare a cocktail and afterwards, of course, drink it.

Product knowledge of Vietnamese beverage

Tasting of fruits and beverage

“Mice en place” workstation/ set up bar

Shaking, stirring and blending drinks

How to make Vietnamese coffee
